Set the creativity level for bulk AI tools

Set the creativity level that will be used for bulk AI tools in your spreadsheet to define how standard (or not) your output is expected to be. You can find out more about the temperature setting, used by OpenAI to set a creativity level, in our Temperature guide.

  1. In the sidebar menu, select Bulk AI tools and open one of the tools.

  2. Select Model settings.

  3. Use the slider to set Creativity between 0 and 1.

GPT for Excel uses the creativity level to generate all responses for bulk AI tools in the current workbook.
