You can connect ChatGPT to Google Docs with the GPT for Docs extension:
Step 1: Install the GPT for Sheets and Docs add-on

Step 2: Get your OpenAI API key
You can get an API key from the OpenAI dashboard: https://platform.openai.com/account/api-keys

Step 3: Setup your API key in GPT for Sheets and Docs
In a google document:
- Go to Extensions > GPT for Sheets and Docs > Set up API key
- Enter your API key and check it
- Click save

Step 4: Enable ChatGPT in Google Docs
From your document:
Go to Extensions > GPT for Sheets and Docs > Launch sidebar
ChatGPT is now connected to Google Docs, and you can ask it anything via the sidebar.
