Reasoning & web search

  • OpenAI GPT-4o Search Preview Sheets (with API key)
    A specialized model trained to understand and execute web search queries, offering fast performance and competitive cost per search query.
  • OpenAI GPT-4o mini Search Preview Sheets (with API key)
    A compact and cost-efficient version of GPT-4o Search Preview, optimized for speed and lower cost.
  • Perplexity Sonar Reasoning Excel Word Sheets (without API key)
    A reasoning-focused model that applies chain-of-thought (CoT) reasoning for quick problem-solving and structured analysis with real-time web search.

Better image analysis in spreadsheets

GPT for Excel and GPT for Sheet now afford you even more depth and flexibility in image-based workflows with:

  • 14 vision models: Choose from a selection of 14 OpenAI and Anthropic vision models when using the Prompt images (Vision) bulk AI tool or the GPT_VISION function. Excel Sheets

90-day run history for bulk AI tools

The bulk AI tool history in GPT for Excel and GPT for Sheets now lets you to reuse configurations from the past 90 days — up from 30 days. This gives you more room to revisit past runs, optimize prompts, and save time on repetitive tasks..
