How does subscription pricing work?
You pay a fixed monthly price: $25/month for the Standard individual plan, $45 per seat per month for the Business team plan (custom pricing for Enterprise). Every seat includes $25 of usage per month. Need more? Buy extra usage anytime. See how billing works.
I'm already on pay-as-you-go. What changes for me?
Nothing for now. Spaces that are already on pay-as-you-go and have an active credit balance stay on pay-as-you-go. New spaces start on a subscription plan. To move your space to a subscription plan, contact support.
Is GPT for Work free?
It’s free to try: GPT for Work is free to install and starts with free credits — no card required for first use. The trial runs on GPT-5.6 Luna. After the trial, plans start at $25/month, and subscribing unlocks all models, including Claude Fable 5.1 and GPT-6 Astra.
What's included each month?
Each seat gets $25 of usage per month for the agent, bulk tools, and GPT functions. Included usage is tied to the seat — it isn’t shared across a Business space — and unused usage doesn’t roll over. Need more? Buy extra usage anytime.
Can I reassign seats and track usage?
Yes. Seats aren’t locked to a person: reassign them to other users whenever you need from the dashboard. The dashboard also gives you detailed usage reporting, so you can see how each seat consumes its included usage and any extra usage.
How is credit usage calculated?
With built-in models, credits are consumed based on your actual usage — the tokens sent and received, and the number of requests you make. Token rates are the AI providers’ standard rates plus a service margin. When you bring your own AI (BYOK/E), credits are consumed per request, and you pay your provider directly for model usage. How is my included usage consumed?
Each seat’s included usage is consumed first. After that, each seat can consume extra usage if enabled, until the extra-usage balance is fully consumed or a configured limit is reached. An active subscription is required to consume extra usage.
How does shared extra usage work?
Extra usage is bought for the space, not for a seat: it goes into one shared balance. Once a seat has used its included usage, it draws from that shared balance if extra usage is enabled for it, so heavy users can consume more than light users without buying extra usage per seat. The shared balance stays valid for 12 months after your most recent purchase, and an active subscription is required to consume it.
How do I control extra-usage spending?
Extra usage is optional: enable or disable it per seat and set extra-usage limits from the dashboard. Once a limit is reached, usage pauses. And seats can never consume more than the shared extra-usage balance.
What happens at renewal?
The subscription renews automatically each billing cycle. Each seat’s included usage resets in full (no rollover). Extra usage stays valid 12 months from your most recent purchase.
Can I bring my own AI?
Yes, on Business and Enterprise. Business spaces can connect their own AI provider keys or endpoints (BYOK/E). Enterprise can enforce bring-your-own-AI across the whole organization.
Do I need a ChatGPT, Copilot, or Claude subscription?
No. A GPT for Work subscription includes its own AI access across a large choice of models. You don't need a separate ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude, or other AI subscription.
