Install GPT for Word
Install the GPT for Word add-in to bring the power of ChatGPT into your Word documents. This add-on provides AI writing capabilities like translation, grammar correction, and sentence rephrasing directly in the Microsoft Word editor. Once installed, this add-in also unlocks the power of AI in Microsoft Excel.

Go to the installation page.
Click Open in Word.
A pop-up appears at the top of the window, requesting your permission to proceed.
Confirm to open Microsoft Word.
You are redirected to the Microsoft Word desktop app.
Click Accept and Continue to accept the permissions.
You have installed GPT for Word on your Microsoft account. The add-in is now available from the Home tab on the desktop app and the Web version of Word.
Go to the installation page.
Click Open in Word Online.
A new Word document opens.
Click Accept and Continue to accept the permissions.
