Connect OpenRouter to Google Sheets

Connecting GPT for Sheets to OpenRouter allows you to access a wide range of AI models without having to manage multiple API keys from different providers.

Create your OpenRouter API key​

  1. Sign in to your OpenRouter account.

  2. Open the API Keys page.

  3. Click Create Key.

  4. Enter a key name and click Create.

  5. Copy and save the key.

Set your OpenRouter API key in GPT for Sheets​

  1. Select Extensions > GPT for Sheets and Docs > Open.

  2. Select API keys from the sidebar menu.

  3. Enter your API key in the OpenRouter field and click Save.

You have set your OpenRouter API key in GPT for Sheets. You can now expand the model switcher and select any model available through your OpenRouter account.
